thanks for the reminder that us moms need to allow ourselves the time to workout and be healthy. I’m struggling with finding the time, especially now that I have another baby….but on the days I make it outside for “mommy workout” time I feel like a million bucks!

You’re welcome, Lisa! It is challenging to balance it all. Sometimes we just have to latch on to that “feel like a million bucks” thought when we find ourselves overwhelmed.

I hate running. I don’t know what it is, I just can’t stand to run.

My trainer makes me run in between the weight sets that we do. That’s because it burns double the calories.

When that happens I like to run. It’s just building up the endurance that is hard to do.

      Hi Angela,

I’m the same way about swimming. I know it’s a great cardio workout, but after one lap, I’m ready to wrap myself up in the towel and get out! It’s great to have that outside force explain the benefits for the things we dislike most.
