A Lost Workout based on Location

Location, location, location! The most important mantra in real estate biz doesn’t stop there. For any viewer of Lost, Location is just as important. Last week, the workout focused on characters and if you’re really gutsy, you can combine your workouts, but for this week, we’re focusing on location.

beach.jpg Location #1: Beach Camp on the Island: Thinking about Spring and the upcoming swimsuit season? Couch Crunches will work the abdominals with a little cardiovascular umph! Sitting on the end of the couch, bring both your legs to your chest and then back out. Balance with your arms, abdominals tight, shoulders back (no slouching allowed!) and lean back slightly. Complete as many repetitions as possible while maintaining good form.

camp.jpgLocation #2: The Village on the Island: What’s going on in the village? It seems pretty quiet, but the commotion might be just around the corner. Standing Calf Raises will allow you to take everything in, but work those often ignored calves.

wild.jpgLocation #3: In the Wild (rest of the Island): Every time something happens in the wild, someone is running. Imitate with Arm Pumps. Stand in place, jog, or add resistance with cans or dumbbells. Really focus on pumping your arms back and forth, regardless of difficulty level.

ship.jpgLocation #4: The Boat: There is going to be some serious action on the boat. While keeping our attention on all that action, complete Standing Side Leg Lifts. Keep your upper body upright and focus on working the inner thigh muscles. You may place your hands on your hips for balance and stability. Slow and controlled. Add leg weights or resistance bands for greater difficulty.

Other Locations (States, Australia, anywhere else): Since clues are being dropped left and right at all the other locations, it’s rest time. Grab the water and enjoy.

Commercials: Always a good opportunity to up the tempo. Go run some stairs, sprint in place, or jump roping in place are great ways to elevate your heart quickly and prepare for the lighter exercises during the show.
