Insightful post. I have been plagued by labels my entire life, always being referred to as "the smart one". Although flattering, it makes me want to live up to that expectation everyday. The truth is, I make huge stupid mistakes just like everyone else. I don't even know why people think I'm smart... I think it's just because I keep my mouth shut. But either way, your post makes me want to shatter the use of such meaningless labels. In the end, they don't get us anywhere. They're just a way to make snap judgments and categorize our seemingly messy lives.

Keep up the good work!
