Body Clutter Mission: Excuses, Excuses!
By Cindy | December 28, 2007
“We are the biggest deceivers on the planet when it comes to ourselves.” -Leanne Ely, pg. 40
What excuses do you make to yourself for having Body Clutter? Don’t hold back! List them all!
- I am big boned.
- I don’t have time to eat right?
- I don’t have time to workout today.
- I can’t afford new clothes.
- I have to have ice cream.
- Why do I have to deny myself that food?
- I can eat now and work it off later.
- I’m not too fat.
- I have two kids, a dog, a cat and husband to take care of and no time for myself.
- Ohh, there’s a Starbucks. I deserve a drink.
- Ohh, there’s a Steak and Shake. I want a shake.
- It’s so easy to go through the drive thru. I can contain the kids in the car seat.
- I don’t feel like cooking
- I am tired and deserve a treat.
- I’m not hungry, but I want a snack.
The questions come from the Body Clutter Journal Missions inBody Clutter: Love Your Body, Love Yourself by Marla Cilley and Leanne Ely, page 55.
