Priscilla Presley and Louis Van Amstel performed the Tango effortlessly highlighting her grace and beauty.

How did it go last week? Did you come up with a favorite dancer? I will miss the comedic relief of Steve Guttenberg along with the nice guy charm.

The Paso Doble and Viennese Waltz are the dances of the week. I found 2 great videos that include Dancing with the Stars professional dancers on YouTube. I’ve included the Warm Up, a Paso Doble Introduction and a Viennese Waltz class.

There are two options for this week.

  • Perform the Videos as a Dance Workout separately
  • Pick and choose the steps you’d like to learn and practice during the show. I’ll provide a small outline that will keep you in front of the TV, moving, while you enjoy the show.

TV Workout Move: Pendulum Side to Side Step

Feel free to mix and match the moves you enjoy to the show. The ABC Clips are nice to follow along without talking. It’s easy to tell that Max is saying we need to keep our abdominals in tight and squeeze the buttocks throughout the dances.

For the show:

  1. Dancer Practices: Side to Side Sway w/ Arm Lifts & Squat Back Rolls
  2. During the Judges Panel: Forward/Backward half-lunges w/ Upper Body Twist
  3. Backstage Interview with Samantha: Pendulum Side to Side Step
  4. Commercials: Walk in Place or Boxer Jump Roping

Isn’t it fun to be learning along side the Stars?
