Friday Faves: Holiday

Mommy Community has posted the Friday Faves! My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love preparing the family dinner. I’ll start planning about three weeks prior to Thanksgiving. Even though everyone brings a dish, we tend to provide the majority of the meal. I enjoy trying new twists to traditional Thanksgiving dishes. With candles, cloth napkins folded and napkin rings, I deck the table with fancy settings and our fine Wedding China.
What I enjoy most about the holiday is the relaxed nature of hanging out with family. Due to all that pre-planning, I typically have a free day to savor the moment and experience the true meaning of Thanksgiving! We are so blessed to have each other. Thanksgiving is definitely my favorite holiday!
