Looks like you "struck it rich" finding all sorts of goodies. Enjoyable read, and I liked your analogy. :) Right now my "black hole" is the storage room in the basement. Who knows what got sucked in there and what we'll find once my husband and I clean it out! Sorting through, organizing, donating, and tossing out all our "stuff" is actually one of our 2008 goals.
