By Cindy | August 26, 2008

What is your goal in health, diet or exercise this week?

goal-call-monday.jpg

Goal Call Monday is your opportunity to be focused, accountable, and motivated to make your goal a success.

This week’s winner is…Shana. Your special reward is a White Tea and Ginger Body Cream from Bath & Body Works (8 oz). Congratulations.

Ready to Share?

1. Enter your goal in the comments (anytime during the week).

2. You’ll be listed in the Goal Call section next Monday. Enter your results/progress to be entered in the drawing.

Why You Want to Participate:

Focus on your top one-week goal in health, diet or exercise.

Accountability is shared here in the comments and by coming back with the results.

Motivation will be provided through your desire to achieve your goal and return with good news or the challenges you faced.

As an extra motivation, I’ll enter anyone who participates in a random drawing to receive a surprise reward (different prizes given each week).

I actually earned 29 activity points last week – yay! :) I just wish the Olympics were on every day, there’s just something so motivating about watching athletes in supreme condition. Apparently, I need to have marathons on every time I am doing a distance run on the treadmill – I could have run for two hours while watching the men’s marathon, although I would have run less than half the distance!

For this week, I am going to focus on eating fewer carbs. I’m stalling a little bit on the weight loss, and my body seems to respond to that well, even though I hate it b/c I love my carbs!

this week, run 3 monday, 5 tuesday, wed- off, thur run 3miles and saturday run 10 miles. not sure i will get a strength training session in this week. hope to get my orthotics in this week as well. and need to keep icing foot

I did pretty good at getting up with my alarm clock & tried getting to bed at those times, but a couple of them didn’t happen due to late night phone calls from my mom :)
My new goal is to keep up with the bedtime & try to work 1-2 days Pilates workouts into my morning routine.

Wow! I won! That is very exciting. Thank you!

This is my last week of boot camp, so I am going to keep my goal the same for the third week in a row: Boot Camp M/W/F and run at least three miles on Tu/Th.

Next week is where the challenge will lie. What am I going to do once boot camp is over?

Hi… this is my first time on this website. My goal this week is to get back to the gym M/W/Sat and to finally get back to using the elliptical that I made my husband buy on T/TH. Also need to get my water intake back up to at least 64oz/day.
