As an extra motivation, I’ll enter anyone who participates in a random drawing to receive a surprise reward (different prizes given each week).
Goal Call
How did you do? Did you accomplish your goal, get stuck, have a funny story to tell? This week is filled with great accomplishments. Keep up the great work everyone. You’re doing fantastic.
- Firemom: Hit the gym three times and to stay active via yoga, walks or stability ball on the other four days. Way to keep focused despite a heavy schedule.
- Blaine: For the rebel not setting a goal: “Get as much running in as I can fit, but not too worried about what I actually do.” A goal in the form of doing is worthy of our list!
- feener: Run 5 on Wed. 4 on Thurs , see PT once during that time and on sat RUN 9. Feener you’re dedication is inspiring. Keep up the great work.
- Angie: 4 days of activity this week (in-home/gym), 50 stability ball crunches each of those days, 50 reps- Ab Coaster when I go to gym. Hope your knees are feeling better.
- Jamie: To make it through the week and exercise in some capacity at least twice. Hang in there! You can do it.
- Elizabeth: Get to bed by 11pm, Elliptical 3 days, and Walk/Run 3 days. Ah, sleep!
- Anita: 2 days Pilates & 3 days of walking. Way to take advantage of the lovely weather. I love the Fall!
I look forward to hearing how you did with your goals. Great job focusing on the small steps! A surprise reward will go to one of you for commenting on the results (good or bad)! Check in and report any time during the week before the next Goal Call Monday is posted! To see their original goals, click here and read the comments.

i wound up running 4 on wed, and 4 thursday and then 8.4 on sunday. saw pt and it helped. SO i am back in the game ….
ran 3.5 today, off tomorrow (seeing PT), wed. run 4, thur run 3 (i might do a bit more each day b/c i was off for 2 weeks) and on sat. run 8……next weekend is the half marathon. i think at this point i will be doing it…just a bit slower then i planned.
Yeah, I was pretty lazy this past week. I took 2 days completely off, and didn’t do anything particularly long. Had to drive down to CT on Thursday and spent a couple of very busy days at the Ryan Lee Bootcamp…very cool. Met a lot of great people.
This week’s goal is pretty predictable…sub-16 5k. Last chance. My training really got derailed after the first attempt went so poorly, mostly because I was convinced I’d do it the first try. Here’s hoping I get good conditions and a good effort this weekend.
Make it through the week. I know it is going to be another tough one. I hope to get two walks in at some point.
I accomplished almost everything I set out to last week except for the stability ball every day.
This weeks goals are simple: at least 5 days of exercise (anything goes, high/low impact, strength, etc.)
Have a great week everyone!
I going to keep my same goal even though I only got in 2 walks & 1 day of Pilates this week.
Had a tough week…I got in a couple of workouts but I took it easy due to shoulder injury.
My goal for this week is to walk/run M/W/F and elliptical T/TH. I would also like to resume kickboxing on Sat.
I will get to sleep by 10:30pm
Keep the momentum going everyone. This looks like a Slow and Steady week. Don’t get discouraged. I love the continual effort to move forward and stay on track.
You’re all doing a fantastic job.
