This is week four of my target to keep up the workout at home DVDs so still the same goals for this week. Next week, we'll start on some new goals.

I've been sick most of this week. So the most strenuous exercise I've done is a 15 minute walk around my office building in the morning. Next week is going to be better.

My goal for next week is 3 sessions of circuit training, approximately 30 minutes long. That should torch some calories.

Well, I messed up a little last week. I ran over 100 miles instead of pushing into the 90s. My runs went really well; I did a 23 miler on some new trails on Saturday, which unfortunately led to twisting both ankles at different points of the run. But I felt pretty good Sunday.

This week is scheduled as a cut back week anyway, but given that my left calf has been a little troublesome yesterday and today I am going to take tomorrow off from running and then try to get a longer run in on Thursday or Friday up at my folks' place.

December is looking like it will be good for training. I've got Monday and Wednesday off from work for the first couple of weeks, so I'll be able to get some good mid-week long runs in while I ramp up my training again before my mid-December taper for the 50 mile race.
