By Cindy | October 6, 2008

What is your goal in health, diet or exercise this week?

This week’s winner is… Jamie . Your special reward is a Yankee Candle and voltive. Congratulations!

Ready to Share?

1. Enter your goal in the comments (anytime during the week).

2. You’ll be listed in the Goal Call section next Monday. Enter your results/progress to be entered in the drawing.

Why You Want to Participate:

Focus on your top one-week goal in health, diet or exercise.

Accountability is shared here in the comments and by coming back with the results.

Motivation will be provided through your desire to achieve your goal and return with good news or the challenges you faced.

As an extra motivation, I’ll enter anyone who participates in a random drawing to receive a surprise reward (different prizes given each week).

I ended up walking 3 days last week. So I met my 3 day goal but I never made it on the elliptical. I’m still proud of myself for walking though.

I’m so excited that I won again! I’m going to do a post on exercise soon and I will definitely be linking to this site. I can’t believe more people don’t take the time to comment!!

This week, I hope to walk twice and get myself on the elliptical at least once.

No swimming last week. I ran about 8 or 9 miles and hiked for 4, called it good. Lots of driving involved; I’ve spent all of Sunday afternoon and Monday evening napping I’ve been so exhausted.

This week I’m back on the wagon and going to start training for the 50 miler in January. The next few weeks I’ll just be getting a lot of easy running in and build my mileage back up to the 60-70 miles per week I had been doing a month ago.

i did my last training runs and then sunday, i did it !!! i ran my first half marathon, no injuries, felt good, it was long and the course was not great b/c it had little fanfare and lots of loops, but i did it. i managed 2 hours and 17 minutes which i was happy with bc i wanted to just be under 2 hours and 30 minutes.

now i want to start focusing on weigths and try and get my stomach in shape and my arms. i might try swimming as well, maybe yoga….let’s see

I did it! A couple of my friends & I have started a private fitness/support blog, which has really helped to keep me (& them) motivated. I mentioned this blog so I hope that a at least 1 or 2 of them will come join us here on Mondays!
Same goal for next week, except change the 3 days of walking to 3 days of aerobic exercise since the weather is getting iffier & the air quality worse due to harvesting.
