Goal Call
How did you do? Did you accomplish your goal, get stuck, have a funny story to tell? This week is filled with great accomplishments. Keep up the great work everyone. You’re doing fantastic.
- Blaine: Low/mid 60s (running miles) with a possible long run days turned into carrying around heavy logs and building a bridge day. There’s nothing like a little bit of transfer into practical, back in the day activities!
- Angie: workout at least 3x, drink 8-12 glasses of water a day and keep writing in my food journal (more focus on portion control).
- Anita: Make better, healthier eating choices & to drink my water everyday!

My goal this week is to fit in 3 strength training session of approximately 30 minutes each. Since getting my pedometer, my favorite form of exercise is walking around in order to get 10,000 steps. Sadly, this has made me neglect my strength training and yoga. I would like to be able to squeeze in a few short sessions in during the week.
Last week went well. Ran 65 miles, got in 15 on Saturday and 6 on Sunday before I helped with the trail maintenance. Didn’t build a structural bridge, but did build a stepping stone bridge at a point where we couldn’t drain the water from the trail. Also blocked the sides of the trail to prevent people from going around and making the trail wider.
This week I’m looking to run up in the 70s, with 15 miles tomorrow evening and 5 hours total of trail running between Saturday and Sunday (30-35 miles.)

I did a better job of watching what I was eating last week & so far this week.
My goal for this week is to keep drinking the water & to increase my activity level from 15 mins a day to 20 mins a day (average).
Hi! I’m joining in for the first time and here’s my goal for the week:
Do three home fitness workout sessions of at least 20 minutes each. I bought all these home fitness DVDs after I delivered my son with the intention of getting back into shape but never really kept with the program. So now I’ve decided to be accountable by writing down my goals. Wish me luck!
