Ready to Share?

1. Enter your goal in the comments (anytime during the week).

2. You’ll be listed in the Goal Call section next Monday. Enter your results/progress to be entered in the drawing.

Why You Want to Participate:

Focus on your top one-week goal in health, diet or exercise.

Accountability is shared here in the comments and by coming back with the results.

Motivation will be provided through your desire to achieve your goal and return with good news or the challenges you faced.

As an extra motivation, I’ll enter anyone who participates in a random drawing to receive a surprise reward (different prizes given each week).

Goal Call

How did you do? Did you accomplish your goal, get stuck, have a funny story to tell? This week is filled with great accomplishments. Keep up the great work everyone. You’re doing fantastic.

  • Asithi:  Welcome to Goal Call Monday!  3 strength training sessions of approximately 30 minutes each, walking around in order to get 10,000 steps.
  • Blaine:  Low/mid 70s (running miles).
  • Anita: keep drinking water & to increase activity level from 15 mins a day to 20 mins a day (average).
  • Angie:  workout at least 3x, drink 8-12 glasses of water a day and keep writing in my food journal (more focus on portion control).
  • Shen-Li:  Do three home fitness workout sessions of at least 20 minutes each.

I look forward to hearing how you did with your goals. Great job focusing on the small steps! A surprise reward will go to one of you for commenting on the results (good or bad)! I received my gifts yesterday too-thanks so much!

I did okay with my goal, but still need to work on the water drinking.

I am going to keep my goal the same for this week!

Got some good training in last week, got about 74-75 miles in or so. My feet were soaked since I wasn’t wearing my trail shoes that drain on Saturday’s 20 miler, so I ran the last 5 miles barefoot, which felt nice. Took Friday off completely.

This week I’m going to try to build my mileage up a bit more, near or over 80, although my original schedule isn’t going to work so I need to figure out how I’m going to fit those miles in.

I came very close. But only did 2 strength session instead of 3. The 10,000 steps was no problem.

I will keep my the same goal for next week.

I did pretty well for my first week back – I managed 5 home fitness sessions (following mostly yoga DVDs) ranging from 20-40 mins per session.

They say the first week is always easier, so let’s see if I can keep this up for a second week running!
