Looking Ahead to the Future and Winners
By Cindy | July 12, 2008
Setting up goals for the future are essential for making a commitment to any process. Especially in fitness, it is helpful to have a big picture in mind and set up little goals along the way. These are the big picture goals that I plan on focusing on over the next year in regards to blog development.
1. Reestablish a Blog Routine. I want to commit 2 hours a day as Blog Mastermind teaches as an eventual status of maintaining an established blog. I’ve developed most of the back end requirements to start shifting to the 2 hour dedication. Time is always going to be an issue, and I will work in days where I can give more time to GWM.
2. Continue to Build Readership Numbers. Close breaking the 100 readers daily average, I want to focus on developing a 500 reader daily average by the end of the year. Ways in which I can improve:
- Provide enjoyable, must read content!
- Develop understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Improved marketing techniques
3. Become Profitable. I’m developing ideas to start offering services and products by Go Workout Mom. Affiliate sales, endorsements and reviews are other ways in which I have room to improve upon. From a business perspective, operating in the black is important for continued growth.
4. Keep it fun.
I’m developing a great library of video posts, Podcast interviews and a wide range of mediums to become better established in the blogosphere and fitness industry.
I can’t thank you enough for bringing Go Workout Mom to life. It has transformed my outlook over the last year in such a positive way. Forcing me to reach out for goals that I left on a back burner after having kids. It pushed me to get my Personal Training Cert and I’m enjoying a part time job to help gain experience and bring more ideas to You.
I look forward to hearing from you and please be honest. What would you like to see developed, focused, or improved upon at Go Workout Mom?

I think you have a great plan; thanks for sharing it with us. I think it’s very doable for you to reach 500 readers a day, and even higher!
The back end requirements are my biggest challenge!
Am I the winner of the candle holder?? Do you need my info?? I will just give you my email address just in case.
