		<description>Thanks for the review. I would like to comment that on page 101 of Lose the Diet I say: &quot;a pound of muscle takes up about 20% less space than a pound of fat&quot;. So what I am saying is that muscle is more dense than fat. I commented that it weighs more, in reference to the fact that muscle weighs more when it takes up the same amount of space as fat.

That is why I included using body measurements for those people who feel the need to keep track of their progress. Since the BMI does not take into account muscle mass and bone density, we can become easily discouraged if we cannot reach the recommended BMI weight.

My nutrition for weight management education was that when it comes to resistance training, twice per week is adequate, and some people can actually over-train.  Certainly it is a good thing to get out and walk daily, run, ride a bike or get whatever regular exercise you can in between to keep you moving.  I offer a variety of suggestions in the chapter &quot;Fitness for Mind Body and Soul.&quot;

Nevertheless, Lose the Diet was designed to be an inspirational guide to help people achieve physical balance by balancing the emotions. It was not intended as a clinical diet book to include calorie counting.

Again, thank you for the review. My hope for Lose the Diet is that people will take away tips and tools that will help them to find balance in their life and in their weight, in addition to some inspirational thoughts to help them in their weight loss journey.
