Lost Your Keys, Again? It’s Time to Exercise.

My constant search for keys, diaper bag, purse, phone, etc. may be a direct result of my decreased exercise! USA Weekend runs a column series by Jorge Cruise, author of the 3-Hour diet. On August 12, 2007, his article, Think about it: Strong brains need exercise dealt with my constant dilemma of temporary mental loss. See, I’ve continually blamed my short-term memory loss on back to back pregnancies with one child taking half my mental capacity and the second the other half. However, Jorge points out that “[Scientists] predict [exercise] could help eliminate especially frustrating experiences like losing your keys.” So the next time you find yourself in search of the keys, it might be another sign that it’s time to add exercise to your day. Wouldn’t it be a great feeling to grab the keys, get out of the house and into the car in a matter of minutes without a search party being initiated? Here’s to another fantastic reason to incorporate exercise into our fitness journey for life!
