Playtime Workout Cool Down for Moms and Toddlers
By Cindy | April 17, 2008
End playtime with a fun cool down. It helps slow down the heart rate and transition blood flow back to normal daily activity. After playing outdoors in the nice Spring weather or settling down after a good rumble in the house, here’s a cool down for mom and children.
Oh, Suzannah: A slow moving song in which you stretch out your hands and clap while side stepping to the tune! A good Southern favorite!
For lyrics and an MP3 download go to Free Kids Music! The quality of the music is great and the songs are available for personal listening downloads.
Stretches presented by the Little Ones! They wanted to be outdoors today and what a gorgeous day it was. Remember, hold the count for 20 to 30 seconds and always have fun. Way to Go Workout Mom!!!

This is FANTASTIC - just what I need to help my son come down gradually from his outdoor high! Thanks for the phtos of the poses - he’s going to enjoy seeing some kids doing the poses we’ll do together.
You’re welcome Brianna. You’re right about the outdoor high.
