Wow Blaine! Did you go through some withdrawal symptoms?

Hi Lara,

Welcome to Go Workout Mom. Your comment really has me thinking. 30 minutes is plenty of time to get some great workouts in and around your home. I'll put together a Problem and Solution Post for ideas. I'll email you when it's ready. Do not get discouraged. With a few ideas and persistence, you will prevail.

These past few months I didn't run much; I took 45 days completely off and then only ran 5 or 6 times before going out of the country for a few weeks.

I had to constantly remind myself not to go out and run no matter how good I felt and stuck to doing a lot of pushups instead. (I broke my foot at the end of July.)

Everything is healed now, though, so it's time to start training again. Other than injury (and this is the first time in about a decade I had an injury serious enough to take this amount of time off) I try not to take extended periods of more than a week or two off from working out.
