A baby’s first year is filled with first time milestones. As parents, we wait for that first smile, word, step, roll, solid food bite and more. In blogging, there are numerous firsts that Go Workout Mom accomplished. Here is a Baker’s Dozen of First Time Milestones:

  1. 1st Comment, Jul. 10, ‘07: Joe Cheray of Kansans and Friends in Weight Loss left the first comment. Thank you Joe!
  2. 1st $1.00 earned, Aug.’07: With Google Adsense and BlogHerAds for a total of $3.89. Click on the Left Sidebar for more details about the BlogHer Ads Network.

Great milestones for your blog!

I’ve had a year of milestones, too. One for my blog was actually posting photos of my progress. One for me, personally, was attending a university class and actually fitting into a classroom chair, with room to spare!

Thanks for sharing your first milestones. I haven’t met those milestones yet, but three of them that I’ve met are my first comment by Diane of carp(e) libris reviews, my first giveaway in April as part of a Bloggy Giveaways carnival and when my blog finally moved into the six digits in June. I still have a first to which I’m really looking forward.

Now MizFit!!! With your style, there is no doubt that you have many, many readers knocking at your doors (virtual) of course!

Thank you, Brianna, It’s stories like yours that are so fascinating. You’ve brought the love of running to young girls by writing a book for them. I couldn’t even imagine where to start!

Hi Joe, It’s been quite a ride. Thanks for continually coming back and sharing.

Thanks, Lori!

Ah, Cindi! You’re a darling. You are doing a terrific job. I always look forward to hearing your next achievement. You’re on a roll.

Great Job, Nancy. It’s a bit of work, but well worth the journey.

Wonderful Cammy!!!! You’re so dedicated and focused and it shows. Keep up the fantastic work.

This year saw a couple of big milestones in my fitness journey - I managed to set 2 course records. I’ve won races before, but this year was the first time that I’ve run faster than anybody else on a given course. It’s a good feeling.

I also started coaching, which has been just as rewarding as the running has.

Happy 1st Birthday! And its great to hear about everyone else’s accomplishments too! Just reading the posts here make me feel more motivated! Not that I’m going to running any marathons soon, for me it’s just taking one step at a time, and just trying to get a little further than last time! I’m just trying to maintain a regular workout routine and fitness level!

I think my first fitness milestone was when I saw definition in the muscles and the complete loss of arm jiggle. I could see the cuts in the mirror and I knew I was on to something!
