Week 13: House is on the Market, Sep. 30-Oct. 6
By Cindy | October 11, 2007
We managed to get most of our non-essential items out of the house. The sign is in the front yard, and we are in awaiting the buyers. It is weird to look out the window and see that For Sale sign up. Now, I’m constantly chasing after the little one’s to keep things picked up in the house. There is definitely something to be said about no clutter to keep life simple. It’s been nice to not have to worry about too many things out of place. As for my Fitness Journey, here’s what I was able to accomplish this week:
Cardiovascular: 1 Hour of Gardening and weed removal. A few more dedicated hours to moving boxes and furniture to the storage unit. A 2 mile walk and a 20 minute Playtime Workout.
Strength Training: Outside of the boxes, I got one dedicated session with the Nautilus Equipment to include leg extension, seated leg curl, leg press, hip abduction, hip adduction, vertical chest and overhead press.
Flexibility: I attended one Yoga 101 class this week. Wow! Yoga is tough.
I gained two pounds over the last few weeks. I have been making very poor food choices. It’s time for me to really focus on stepping up my exercise routines and focusing on my eating habits. I have been more active over the last few months, but it is now time to start implementing the dietary improvements.

I agree that yoga is way more difficult than most people realize!! But it’s great, isn’t it?
I’m really enjoying the classes. The last 5 minute relaxation period is amazing. We lay down with a blanket over us and just relax.
Cindy, Just think about how much easier it was to pack, move furniture, carry boxes, pick up after the kids, etc. because your consistent exercise routine has enhanced your strength, endurance and flexibility!
