Week 15: 1st Week of HyperStrike Trial, Oct. 14-20

I enjoyed working with HyperStrike this week for my workouts. My official review will come at the end of the trial period. Here’s what I accomplished:
Monday: HyperStrike Strength Training Routine
- 60 rep jump rope warm-up
- Step Ups (2 sets/12 reps)
- Medicine Ball Crunch (2 sets/12 reps)
- Band Crunch (2 sets/12 reps)
- Arm-Reaching Rotation Crunch (2 sets/12 reps)
- Bent-Legged Deadlifts (2 sets/20 reps)
- 5 Stretching exercises for recovery
Tuesday: HyperStrike Strength Routine
- Jumping Lunges and Squat Thruster warmup (2 sets/12 reps)
- A-Bound (think high knee skips) (2 sets/25 yds)
- Alternating Split-Squat Jump (2 sets/5 reps)
- Narrow-Grip Lat Pulldowns 24 lbs (2 sets/12 reps)
- Lying Dumbbell Row 10 lbs (2 sets/12 reps)
- Dumbbell Lateral Raise-Standing 10 lbs (2 sets/12 reps)
- Push up(2 sets/20 reps)
- Alternating Curl-Seated 24lbs (2 sets/12 reps)
- Rope Triceps Press Down 10lbs (2 sets/12 reps)
- Arm-Reaching Situps (2 sets/12 reps)
- 4 Stretching Exercises for Recovery
Wednesday: HyperStrike Conditioning Routine
- 20 minutes Running (I ran a little over 2 miles.)
- 20 minutes Treadmill ( I ran 1.8 miles between a10-12 minute mile pace)
- 500 meters Rowing (I completed the 500 meters in 3 to 4 minutes)
Thursday: HyperStrike Conditioning Routine and My Own Routine
- Lateral Lunges Rotation (2 sets/60 sec.)
- Jumping Lunges Moving (2 sets/60 sec.)
- Forward Lunge Thrust (2 sets/60 sec.)
I added a 40 minute threadmill speed walking set and completed a Strength Training Routine which included:
- Bicep Curl 35lbs (3sets/12 reps)
- Tricep Extension (3sets/12 reps)
- Chin/Dip Machine-2 sets of chin/1 set dip 20-35lbs (3sets/12 reps)
Friday: Day Off. I shifted the HyperStrike Routine to Saturday
Saturday: HyperStrike Conditioning Routine from Friday.
- Jump Rope for 3 minutes
- Stair Climb for 10 sets of 15 sec bursts
- A-Skip for 1 set of 25 yds.
I did not complete the HyperStrike Conditioning Routine for Saturday. I plan on adding it into the early part of next week.
Sunday: Day Off.
Overall, I was very happy with different workouts this week. The combination of explosive exercises added a nice variety to my regular routines.

This sounds like a lot of fun! I really like the variety of everything (and the jumping rope!)
Everyday has been different. I have enjoyed the workouts and many of them are not time consuming.
