Week 21: Loving Vacation Time: May 11-17
By Cindy | May 22, 2008
Time slips away when on vacation. I managed to get a few Pilates-style, abdominals and a few resistance band exercises in throughout the week. With a couple of long walks and playtime in the pool, vacationing came down to rest, relaxation and reevaluation.
I created lists to organize our lifestyle when we return home. By taking on a part time job, I need to structure time in a calendar system to accomplish everything. I know that I should have had this in place while staying home, but I never made the connection to break the day down by time segments. I used to live by a planner when juggling classes and various commitments in school.
Over the next week, I hope to restructure our schedule to include home dynamics, family dynamics, personal fitness journey, playtime and preschool activities, blogging, on-line tutoring (~5 to 7 hrs a wk), mystery shopping (now, for good restaurants and quality pay options) and personal training job commitments (~20 hrs a wk) into the week without going crazy!!!
Less stress, family love and lots of fun in the sun are great for re-evaluating what’s important in life. Life is great! The slide show says it all:
Today’s the last day to enter the Fitness Mom T-Shirt Contest. Head over to the Fuji Bike Giveaway, too, for a chance to win a great bike!
