Week 34: Three Workout Days are Okay, Aug. 10-16th
By Cindy | August 19, 2008
I’m not completely satisfied with my fitness routines, but I am content with tracking my time spent on an organizer (the one that breaks the day down to 15 minute increments). I find gaps in the day wondering just what I did. As I’m writing this post, I thought that I had only been tracking for a couple of weeks and realized that it’s been over a month now.
It’s time to start pre-planning the days with progress made toward the super long “to-do” list. I was reading earlier this week how important it is to write everything down on one list in order to keep the mind from being bogged down by tracking all the “other” lists! It has helped me clear my mind which apparently worries about the little stuff on the same level as the big stuff. I have been sleeping better. However, now I look at that list with dread and tend to blow it all off!
What did I do last week?
- Monday: Completed Day 5 (Back/Biceps) of Week 2 Workout and a partial legs strength training routine.
- Thursday: One Hour Fast Paced Walk (just over 4 miles) with a friend. Combined Day1 & 2 Week 3 Workout (triceps/legs/chest)
- Wrote down most of my food consumption. I have a hard time tracking calories. I plan to one day input it all into SparkPeople, but for now, it’s pretty enlightening just to write what I eat and when.
- Lots of focus on preparing for our offical opening of our Home Preschool.
- Trained Clients and designed plans for 4 to 5 hours each evening.
- Typical housecleaning and childrearing chores and duties.
- Blogging when I get a chance!
- Crossed off three items from the “to-d” list (weeding front walk area, mailbox garden, and set up the Preschool Planning binder)!
- Added too many items to the list!
What did I learn?
- Overextended!
- I’m removing myself from many of the Mystery Shopping adventures. Gas, money and time are not worth the effort.
- I have a ton of back end blogging “to-do” items waiting to be adjusted.
- Taking a deep breath and watching our children grow is the most important part of this whole life journey.
- That Blue Bell Ice Cream is so darn good (which I already knew, but love to experience when it goes on sale).
