Week 4 in Review: July 29-Aug 4
By Cindy | August 8, 2007
I spent way too much time in front of the computer and eating this week. I have no excuses!
Aerobic: Monday: I ran a timed mile running my course around the neighborhood in the opposite direction to balance my elevations. I ran it in 9:55. I finished off the workout by walking/running the second mile. My complete workout took 23:55. Friday: I ran on the treadmill. The heat has become sweltering this past week. I did a 30 minute workout with a 5 minute cool down. My pace was set for a 9:50 mile.
Anaerobic: Sunday: A full strength training session to include 3 sets of 12 for 6 exercises. 3 arms/3 legs. Unfortunately and with no excuse, I did not complete a second day of training.
Abs: I only completed one day of abs on Monday.
Overall, I must incorporate 3 cardio workouts throughout the week and get my two strength training sessions in to achieve my basic goals for the month. Even though I have made strides toward more consistent workouts, I am now focused on achieving a habit of regularly completed workouts in a week.
